The mama pygmy had one little buck today a little after 4:00 pm. Then she started trying to deliver the second baby. Three hours later we had a goat rancher come over to help. Then we called my sister, her small hands could possibly go where the rest of us couldn't. Then we had my brother-in-law's sister come over and she was able to turn the breeched baby so that we could deliver the still born baby. She's a good mama, the little buck was nursing. My husband gave her some vitamins and a tetanus shot. He gave the baby a little tetanus. Now we just hope she makes it through. It was very sad. I was all set for a beautiful event and it turned very ugly. I will post picture of the new baby pygmy buck tomorrow. I'm exhausted now. He's beautiful.

Mama and baby are doing fantastic. I saw them Saturday. The baby kept jumping all over his mama and every time he got a little to far away she hollered at him. It was just too damn cute.

I will post birthday pictures when I finally remember to charge my camera battery.
