Cake or pie? Heated or cold? À la mode or plain?

I like cake. I like pie filling but not pie crust. I like my cake at room temperature or near freezing. Ice cream is not allowed to touch my cake. It is eaten on a clean plate after the cake. It makes my cake soggy and yucky.
